M&M Guidelines:

  • The story submission for this series must be an account of an actual event of a paranormal or miraculous nature, and be true to the best of your knowledge.
  • No adult language or situations in the content. Please keep it free of four-letter-no-nos and friendly for young-adult readers.
  • Be aware that your story will go through an editing panel and is subject to content changes as well as title changes, however the editors strive to maintain the original flow and style of all manuscripts submitted to the Legacy Archives Foundation.
  • The Legacy Archives Foundation establishes and maintains the copyrights to any story submitted to us that is included in a Legacy Archives book.
  • There are no word-count requirements. If you've got a story you'd like to include that's only a couple of short paragraphs long, that's absolutely okay. If it's a HUGEEEEE story that could make for an entire book of it's own then by all means, write it into your own book. If you need a writer, let us know. We might very well be able to hook you up with a Legacy Scribe who might be willing to be commissioned to write it for you. That's one of the beautiful things about networking!
  • The M&M books are being produced with story-counts of between 15-20. If you've a story that doesn't make it into one of the books, please don't fret because it can likely be put into the next book.

What being a Legacy Scribe or Contributor can do for you ...

Legacy Scribes and Contributors are given exposure via their bio information which is included both in the book they submit content to as well as here, on the Legacy Archives Foundation Website. (See the Scribes & Contributors page.)

That means, you, as a scribe or story contributor, if you have a business of your own (as long as it's not a business for adults only), will have the opportunity to gain new clients, or fans via the books' readership. If you're a writer, and a reader comes across a story you've contributed they can easily follow the included links to your website (if you have one) to be able to read more of your work, or buy your books, etc. It works the same for other sorts of business, like musicians and other artists, gift shop owners, mechanics, horse-trainers, locksmiths, herbal experts and physical fitness trainers ... the list goes, on and on.

If you're in business, folks who read the books are potential clients, and hopefully the sort of clients most business people enjoy having.

Also, there's the aspect of knowing the book your story is published in will be helping to fund a not for profit group or organization.

Beyond that, I've personally found one of the most awesome things about this book series is having some of my own friends' and families' stories included. It's an exceptional feeling of accomplishing something grand for them, in seeing their stories in a book.

So, if you decide to become a Legacy Scribe, or contribute your story for one of us to write for you, I promise it's worth the effort so I hope you'll join us in doing good things and making a difference in good ways.

If you've still got questions, please contact us and let us know. We're happy to help!
